David Wood

David Wood is a seasoned Physician Services Consultant with a robust background in physician management. From 2014 to 2021, they served as Executive Vice President and Chief Medical Officer at Beaumont Health, where they also held the role of President of Beaumont Physician Partners. Following this, David led DWMD Consulting as President from 2021 to 2023, specializing in contracting, compensation, recruitment, and manpower planning. Currently, they are an Adjunct Clinical Professor at Michigan Medicine and are pursuing a Doctor of Medicine degree at the University of Michigan, alongside an ongoing education at Albion College. David holds an MBA from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, completed in 2016.
