Eric Giles

Eric Giles is currently an Incoming Digital Enterprise Software Applications Intern at Siemens Digital Industries Software, with experience as a Resident Advisor at the University of Michigan since August 2023. Previously, Eric held a Validation Engineer position at Tenneco, focusing on the durability of exhaust systems, and served as a Learning Assistant for a Physics course at the University of Michigan College of Literature, Science, and the Arts. As a Mechanical Systems Engineer with the University of Michigan Solar Car Team, Eric contributed from September 2022 to December 2023. Additional roles include working as a Carpenter at Genesis Builders and as a Cabinet Fabricator at Steelcase. Eric is pursuing a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Michigan College of Engineering, expected to graduate in 2026, following a high school education at East Kentwood High School from 2018 to 2022.
