John Gonzalez

John Gonzalez has extensive experience in institutional research and policy analysis, currently serving as the Director of Institutional Research at Rackham Graduate School, University of Michigan, since May 2013. In this role, John provides expertise in evaluation, research, data management, and project management, focusing on the design and implementation of an internal data warehouse. Prior to this position, John held roles at the NYC Department of Education from August 2011 to May 2013, including Associate Director of Policy Research, where analytical efforts assessed accountability and enrollment practices, and Senior Research Analyst, managing reports to evaluate school performance. John's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Instructional Design from Syracuse University, an MS in Mathematics Education from Brooklyn College, and a BS in Information Technology from the Rochester Institute of Technology.
