Jon Schroeder

Jon Schroeder is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in investment accounting and operations. Currently serving as the Director of Investment Accounting at the University of Michigan since June 2014, Jon has effectively led investment accounting amidst significant portfolio growth. Prior roles include Manager of Investment Operations/Assistant Controller at the UAW Retiree Medical Benefits Trust and Senior Treasury Analyst at Chrysler Financial, where Jon facilitated complex securitization transactions. Additional experience encompasses positions at Robert Bosch as a Senior Accountant and Senior Financial Analyst, Senior Auditor at PricewaterhouseCoopers, and Assistant Controller at the Michigan Association of CPAs. Jon holds a Master of Science in Professional Accountancy from Walsh College and a Bachelor of Arts in French and Political Science from Western Michigan University.
