Jonathan Fay

Jonathan Fay is an accomplished academic and industry professional with extensive experience in entrepreneurship, biomedical engineering, and research development. As Director of Commercialization Programs and later as the Dixon and Carol Doll Executive Director at the University of Michigan Center for Entrepreneurship, Jonathan played a pivotal role in fostering innovation and entrepreneurial thinking within the Michigan community. Currently serving as Associate Professor of Practice and Hub Director for the NSF I-Corps Hub in the Great Lakes Region, Jonathan also holds the position of Associate Chair of Translational Research at the University of Michigan Biomedical Engineering. With a background that includes leadership roles in various medical technology companies such as EarLens Corporation and Aperon Biosystems, along with a strong educational foundation comprising a PhD in Biomechanics and an MS in Aerospace Engineering from Stanford University, Jonathan is dedicated to translating research into impactful market solutions.
