Katie McBride

Katie McBride is a research technician senior at the University of Michigan, where Katie conducts human microbiome research in the Dr. Pat Schloss lab. Prior to this, Katie worked as a sales associate at VWR and as a graduate research assistant at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville where Katie completed their Master's thesis project in microbially-mediated environmental remediation. Katie also worked as a graduate teaching assistant and a research assistant at Oak Ridge Institute for Science and Education. Additionally, Katie has experience as a laboratory technician at Microbac Laboratories, Inc. Katie holds a Master's degree in Microbiology and a Bachelor's degree in Biology from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
