Lorena Chambers, Ph.D., serves as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Michigan since July 2021 while simultaneously leading Chambers Lopez Strategies LLC as Chief Executive Officer, a position held since June 2004. Notably, Lorena Chambers is the only Latina and one of only two women to have produced television broadcast commercials for a US Presidential campaign, contributing significantly to the re-election of Nevada Senator Catherine Cortez Masto in 2022. Previously, Lorena Chambers was a Visiting Research Affiliate at Yale University from 2018 to 2021. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in U.S. History (2020) and a Master of Arts from the University of Michigan, along with a Bachelor of Arts in History from UCLA.
