Mark Lindquist

Associate Professor

Mark Lindquist is an experienced academic and landscape architect currently serving as an Associate Professor at the University of Michigan since August 2015, following a role as an Assistant Professor at the same institution. Prior to that, Mark held the position of Assistant Professor at the University of Calgary from September 2013 to August 2015 and served as a Harry Worthington Research Scholar at the University of Sheffield from September 2010 to August 2013. Previous experience includes roles as Program Director for Landscape Architecture at North Dakota State University and Senior Lecturer at both Victoria University of Wellington and Kingston University. Mark began his professional career as a Landscape Designer at firms including The Olin Partnership and du Toit Allsopp Hillier, and held the position of Research Associate at the University of Toronto. Mark Lindquist earned a Ph.D. in Landscape Architecture from the University of Sheffield and holds a MLA from the University of Toronto, alongside a BEnvDes from the University of Manitoba.
