Michael Hague

Michael Hague currently serves as the Executive Director of Business Operations at the University of Michigan's Office of the Vice President for Research, a role held since September 2021. Prior to this position, Michael was the Vice Chancellor for Business and Finance at the University of Michigan-Flint from July 2016 to August 2021, and also served as the Interim Vice Chancellor during that time. Michael's extensive experience in financial management includes roles as Division Controller and Director of Student Business Services at the University of Michigan from January 2013 to May 2017, and Executive Director of Business Services at Eastern Michigan University from November 2006 to January 2013. Michael's career began at Adrian College as the Associate Vice President of Financial Services from 1994 to 2006, and included early experience as a Staff Accountant at Ernst & Young from 1992 to 1994. Michael holds a degree from Adrian College, completed in 1992, and completed high school at St. Francis de Sales in 1988.
