Michael Murray, Ph.D., is a lecturer in the Department of Biological Sciences at Augusta University since 2013, where courses focus on Environmental Biology and public health through online teaching of Environmental Aquatic Chemistry and Air Pollution. Additionally, Michael serves as an Adjunct Associate Professor at the University of Michigan's School of Natural Resources and Environment, engaging in research collaboration and student advising. With previous experience as a Staff Scientist at the National Wildlife Federation from 1997 to 2021, Michael conducted research and advocacy related to Great Lakes protection, nutrient management, and climate change. Michael also held a research position at the University of Wisconsin from 1984 to 1997 and holds a Ph.D. in Environmental Chemistry from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, along with a B.S. in Geological Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines.
