M'Lis Bartlett is an experienced educational consultant and academic, currently serving as a LEO LEC III at the School for Environment and Sustainability at the University of Michigan since 2010. Bartlett contributes to the Discovering Place Leadership Team, focusing on program development and organizational planning for projects that engage teachers and students in addressing real-world community challenges. Previously, Bartlett held the position of Executive Director at the Friends of the High School for Environmental Studies from 1998 to 2006 and has also worked as a Post Doctoral Fellow, coordinating the Diversity Fellows Internship Program and researching food access in Michigan. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Landscape Architecture and a Master’s Degree in Landscape Architecture from the University of Michigan, along with a Bachelor of Science in Fine/Studio Arts from Oberlin College.
