Qia Yang

Qia Yang is a data programmer at the University of Michigan since December 2021, specializing in data extraction, intake, and cleaning for statistical analysis and maintaining a large SQL Server instance for educational records. Previously, Qia worked as a data analyst at Yerbba for a brief period, focusing on mapping clinical data to FHIR standards and ensuring data quality. Prior experience includes a role as a manufacturing scientist at Enzo Life Sciences, where Qia designed and executed scientific experiments, as well as serving as an associate scientist at Cayman Chemical, conducting laboratory experiments for product development and authoring qualification protocols. Qia holds a Master of Science in Bioorganic Chemistry from Wayne State University and a Bachelor of Science in Materials Chemistry from Nankai University.
