Rich Holcomb

Rich Holcomb is an accomplished leader in human resources with extensive experience at the University of Michigan, where Rich has served as Associate Vice President for HR and Chief Human Resources Officer, as well as Senior Director for Benefits, Health & Well-Being since 2013. Rich's strategic oversight includes the administration of comprehensive benefit plans for both the University of Michigan and its Health System. Previously, Rich held the role of Interim Chief Human Resources Officer at Michigan Medicine and Director of Total Compensation & HR Services at the University of Michigan Health System. Earlier experience includes a managerial position at Foote (Allegiance) Health System. Rich holds a Bachelor's degree in Employment Relations and a Master's degree in Labor Relations and Human Resources from Michigan State University, along with advanced qualifications from Harvard Law School and the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business in various human resources and healthcare leadership programs.
