Ron Wade is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the School of Kinesiology at the University of Michigan since July 2018, bringing extensive experience in education and sports marketing. Prior to this role, Ron served as an Adjunct Instructor at Wayne State University from May 2015 to July 2018 and held various positions over 13 years with the Detroit Tigers, including Director of Marketing. Earlier in Ron's career, marketing expertise was gained as Group Sales Manager for the St. Paul Saints and within the Detroit Medical Center as a Cytogenetic Technologist. Ron also contributed to Orbit Magazine as Editor At Large from February 1996 to September 2000. Educationally, Ron holds a Master’s degree in Sports Administration and a Bachelor’s degree in Biology, both from Wayne State University.
