Ryan Snyder

Ryan Snyder is a doctoral researcher and graduate research assistant at the University of Michigan, working under Professor Robert T since June 2023. In addition to research, Ryan serves as a graduate student instructor for General Chemistry and Organic Chemistry laboratories and recitation courses. Previously, Ryan gained experience as a research assistant in Professor Jennifer L’s laboratory at Wayne State University from August 2020 to May 2023 and also worked as a peer mentor, facilitating supplemental instruction for Organic Chemistry courses. A research chemistry intern at Cayman Chemical during the summer of 2022, Ryan focused on synthesizing various compounds and optimizing hydrogenations. Ryan holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Wayne State University and is currently pursuing both a Doctor of Philosophy in Analytical Chemistry and a Master of Science in Organic Chemistry at the University of Michigan.
