Sanjay Saint

Sanjay Saint is the Chief of Medicine at VA Ann Arbor and the George Dock Professor of Internal Medicine at the University of Michigan. They are currently a professor, associate chief of medicine, and director of the VA/UM Patient Safety Enhancement Program, where they care for hospitalized adult patients, teach medical students, and conduct research. Sanjay previously served as a RWJ Clinical Scholar at the University of Washington from 1996 to 1998, and completed a medical residency and acted as Chief Resident at UCSF Medical Center from 1992 to 1996. They earned a Doctor of Medicine degree from UCLA in 1992 and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from UC Irvine in 1988.
