Seth Guikema

Seth Guikema currently serves as a Professor at the University of Michigan since July 2019 and holds the position of President at the Society for Risk Analysis since December 2019. Additionally, Seth Guikema has been a Professor 2 at the University of Stavanger since January 2008. Previously, Seth Guikema was a Data Science Research Fellow at One Concern until December 2022 and an Associate Professor at the University of Michigan College of Engineering from 2015 to July 2019. Earlier academic positions include Associate Professor and Assistant Professor at Johns Hopkins University from January 2008 to July 2015 and Assistant Professor at Texas A&M University from August 2005 to December 2007. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Engineering Risk and Decision Analysis from Stanford University, along with Master's degrees from the University of Canterbury and Stanford University, and a Bachelor of Science from Cornell University.
