Thomas Wang is a physician scientist and professor at the University of Michigan, where they hold the H. Marvin Pollard Professor of Endoscopy Research title. With expertise in biomedical engineering and gastroenterology, Thomas developed several novel imaging methodologies for the early detection and treatment of cancer in the digestive tract. Prior to their current role, they served as an instructor at Stanford University, where they pioneered innovative optical approaches for cancer detection and significantly contributed to advancements in endoscopy.
