Tom Delay Cbe

Tom Delay CBE is an accomplished leader in the fields of sustainability and management consultancy, currently serving as a Non Executive Director and Chair of the Corporate Sustainability Committee at Severn Trent, and as a member of the advisory boards for the Centre for Climate Finance and Investment at Imperial College Business School, and the Global CO2 Initiative at the University of Michigan. As Chief Executive of The Carbon Trust, Tom Delay successfully transitioned the organization from grant funding to a commercial funding model, overseeing significant growth and the establishment of three ventures focused on waste, renewables, and commercial property. Previous roles include board membership at Energy Research Partnership, and chair positions in various organizations related to renewable energy. With a robust background in strategy and management consulting from firms such as A.T. Kearney and McKinsey & Company, along with extensive experience at Shell, Tom Delay holds an MBA with distinction from INSEAD and a first-class honors degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Southampton.
