Wayne Carpenter

Wayne Carpenter is a Senior IT Auditor at the University of Michigan since February 2017, specializing in risk-based auditing. Prior experience includes roles at Michigan Medicine, where responsibilities expanded to encompass data security, vulnerability scanning, incident response, and VPN support from January 2012 to February 2017. Earlier, Wayne served as a Network Planning Analyst Intermediate, involving system monitoring and vulnerability management. Additionally, Wayne has experience as a Network Engineer at ASG Renaissance, supporting the installation of networks at the new Mott Children and Women’s Hospital, and as a Senior Network Analyst at ADP, providing network support and security consultation. Wayne's education includes a Master of Science in Information Assurance and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Network Security, both from Davenport University.
