Wendy Day currently serves as the Assistant Vice Chancellor at Washington University in St. Louis since August 2023. Prior to this role, Wendy was involved with the University of Michigan - College of LSA for nearly two decades, where positions included Executive Director of Development for Central States, Senior Regional Director of Development, and Regional Director of Development. Wendy also worked as a Major Gift Director for the University of Michigan from December 2020 to March 2024, leading a team of 14 fundraisers to secure major gifts while collaborating with departments to define fundraising priorities. Earlier experience includes teaching English at Ann Arbor Public Schools from August 2000 to June 2004. Wendy holds a BA in English and Political Science from Duke University and an MA in Education from the University of Michigan.
