Xiaogan Liang

Xiaogan Liang is a Professor of Mechanical Engineering and has served as the Associate Chair for Undergraduate Education at the University of Michigan since November 2011. Prior experience includes a role as a Staff Scientist at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory from July 2008 to October 2011, where Xiaogan Liang contributed to patent development, including one for electrostatic force-assisted printing techniques. Academic qualifications include a Ph.D. and MA in Electrical Engineering from Princeton University, an MS in Condensed Matter Physics from the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and a BS in Physics from Peking University.
