Daan Hofman

Daan Hofman has extensive experience in operations and project management within the engineering sector at Umicore, where roles have included Operations Manager Sampling, Manager Technology Development, Technology Project Manager, and Assistant Project Manager since 2007. Daan has played a significant role in ensuring the quality of incoming materials through representative sampling and has successfully developed and managed technological projects, guiding a lean team and overseeing large project budgets. Prior experience includes serving as a Mechanical Maintenance and Safety Officer for Umicore's Solar Team during the World Solar Challenge and contributing to the design of the first Belgian Solar Car with Solar Team vzw. Daan holds a Cum Laude degree in Electromechanical Engineering from KU Leuven.
