David Merchin

David Merchin has over a decade of experience in strategic insights and analytics within the materials science sector, currently serving as the Manager of Strategic Insights and Analytics for the New Business Incubator at Umicore since April 2009. Prior roles at Umicore include Emerging Application Manager and Global Innovation Manager. David began his career as a Project Manager at Strategic Analysis Inc. and worked as a Material and Energy Consultant at D&Consultants. Academic credentials include an Executive Marketing degree from HEC Paris and a Master of Science in Materials Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, complemented by a Master of Science in Engineering from Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Mines de Nancy.
