Nico Moons

Nico Moons is a professional with extensive experience in analytical chemistry and laboratory management. Currently serving as the Manager of the analytical laboratory at Umicore since January 2018, Nico previously held the position of Teamleader in Analytical Quality Control at Fujifilm Electronic Materials from May 2013 to January 2018. Nico completed a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Chemistry at KU Leuven, where research focused on the synthesis of a library of (iso)steviol analogs, discovering various synthetic routes for new steviol derivatives. Earlier academic achievements include obtaining a Master's Degree in Chemistry from KU Leuven from 2003 to 2007.
