Piotr Ogonowski

Piotr Ogonowski is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in process technology and management, currently serving as Process Technology Department Manager and Process Control Department Manager at Umicore since October 2019. Previously, Piotr held the position of Plant Launch Manager at Vitro and served in various roles at Pittsburgh Glass Works, including Supervisor of Product Development Team Leaders and Product Development Team Leader, where responsibilities included delivering high-quality products for luxury vehicles and leading cross-functional teams across multiple countries. At Metzeler Automotive Profile Systems, Piotr was a Project Leading Engineer managing significant projects for Daimler, and earlier roles included process and maintenance engineering at Hi-P International and research at Wetsus. Piotr earned a Master of Engineering degree in Chemical Technology from Wrocław University of Science and Technology and the University of Twente.
