Sandra Lauwers

Sandra Lauwers currently serves as the Manager Facility Services at Umicore since January 2024. Previously, Lauwers held the position of Afdelingshoofd Technische dienst at UZ Leuven from April 2022 to January 2024. Earlier roles include Capex Portfolio Manager at Vopak, Project & Portfolio Manager Utilities at BASF, and Installations Project Manager at Fluxys, where oversight included a team managing project leaders and site coordinators, as well as leading various infrastructure projects. Lauwers' career began at Xylem Water & Wastewater as a Sales Engineer & Project Manager, and at Alvey Group as a Sales Support Engineer. Lauwers earned a Master’s Degree in Industrial Sciences - Electromechanics from Thomas More (Campus De Nayer) in 1998.
