Steven Art possesses extensive experience in compliance, sustainability, and supply chain management within the precious metals and recycling industries. Since March 2002, Steven has held multiple roles at Umicore Precious Metals Refining, culminating in the position of Compliance & Sustainability Manager PMR, where responsibilities include overseeing the value chain excellence and implementing due diligence practices for security and sustainability. Prior positions include Project & Supply Manager - Recyclables, Supply Manager Industrial By-products, and Sales Manager for various recycling services, demonstrating a strong focus on innovative project management and operational efficiency. Earlier experience includes roles in technical coordination, waste treatment, and sales engineering, complemented by a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering with a focus on Biochemistry from the University of Antwerp.
