Steven Verberckmoes

Steven Verberckmoes is an accomplished toxicologist with extensive experience in metal toxicology, currently serving as Manager REACH and Toxicology at Umicore since September 2008, where responsibilities include leading the Environment Health and Safety scientific competence platform. Steven holds the title of ERT certified Toxicologist and has also functioned as a Project Leader in similar capacities at Umicore. In addition to this role, Steven is the founder of BeTechnic, a private company with divisions focused on trading LEGO(r) products and providing digital audio-visual services. Prior leadership roles include President and Vice-President of BeLUG vzw from September 2008 to March 2013, along with a solid educational background that includes a PhD in Medical Science from the University of Antwerp and post-academic training in Reproductive Toxicology from the University of Surrey.
