Stijn Schepers

Stijn Schepers is an experienced professional currently working as a Process Engineer R&D focused on Recycling and Extraction Technology and as an R&D Chemist for Battery Precursor Materials at Umicore since August 2020. Stijn has been an instructor at G-Zwemschool ZwemclubGeel since September 2015, conducting weekly swimming lessons for children with disabilities. Previously, Stijn served as Vice President at Sagio.be VZW from August 2019 to August 2020, where responsibilities included managing internal operations, human resources, IT, and marketing for a non-profit organization providing affordable tutoring services. In addition, Stijn was a Residence Student responsible for overseeing the well-being of 150 students at KU Leuven from September 2017 to August 2020. Stijn holds a Master's degree and a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from KU Leuven - Group T Leuven Campus, as well as a secondary education degree in Latijn-Wiskunde from Sint Dimpna Geel College.
