Preeti Baghel is a visiting faculty at Azim Premji University and a trainer at Ummeed Child Development Center. Prior to this, Preeti was an intern at PTVAIM Center for entrepreneurship & innovation and worked as a mental health facilitator at Apni Shala. Additionally, Preeti interned at The Akanksha Foundation and Center for capoeira CDO India. Preeti holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Wilson College and has previous educational backgrounds in Humanities/Humanistic Studies and Secondary school certificate.

Ummeed is one of India’s premier non-profit organizations providing family-centered care to children with developmental disabilities and their families. As an organization with a workforce of over 100 committed professionals, Ummeed’s transdisciplinary approach works towards: • Supporting children in overcoming their disabilities through direct clinical services and helping families in their journey towards acceptance and empowerment • Building a network of trained professionals and community workers who can prevent, diagnose, and manage developmental disabilities effectively • Promote evidence based practices through research and give a platform for the voice of parents and influence policy through advocacy
