Andrew Farrugia

Andrew Farrugia has over 20 years of experience in the technology industry. From 2000 to 2003, they worked as a Systems Engineer for Vodafone (Malta) Ltd. Andrew then worked as a Research Scientist for Philips Research from 2003 to 2006. From 2006 to 2011, they worked as a Senior Principal, Analogue/RF IC Design for Cambridge Silicon Radio (CSR). During their time at CSR, they were involved in marketing and sales support, operational innovation, setting up a new MEMS technology knowledge-base, technical due-diligence on start-ups for M&A activities, and more. From 2011 to 2018, they worked as a Senior Marketing Manager and Director of Marketing for Neul Ltd. Most recently, they have been the Head of Marketing & Solutions for Umnai since 2021.

Andrew Farrugia began their educational career in 1996 when they attended the University of Malta, where they completed a B.Eng. (Hons.) in Electrical Engineering in 2000. Andrew then pursued a M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering (Microelectronics) at Delft University of Technology, which they completed in 2002. In 2015, they continued their studies at IE Business School, where they earned an Executive MBA in Business Administration, Management and Entrepreneurship in 2016. Following this, they attended the Yale School of Management in 2016 to study Behavioral Finance, Economics and Marketing.
