Currently serving as the Senior Manager (Head) of IT Policy & Cyber Security at U Mobile since May 2019, responsibilities include promoting IT security awareness. Previous roles include Manager, IT Security & Governance at Prudential Assurance Malaysia Berhad, and Manager (Head), IT Security & Compliance at Aeon Credit Service Malaysia, where responsibilities focused on compliance reviews and maintaining security protection. Earlier positions include AVP roles at CIMB and Astro, as well as network engineering roles at HP, E2 POWER SDN. BHD., and Maybank. Hon Wan Tan holds a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology from HELP Institute and Charles Sturt University.
