Neil T. has over three decades of experience in the telecommunications industry, currently serving as CIO at U Mobile since March 2018. Previously, Neil held multiple key positions at MTN, including CIO for SEA IT shared services and Project Director for the MTN Next global back office transformation program. Their tenure at MTN also included roles such as General Manager Service Delivery and Senior Manager for Value-Added Services, where responsibilities encompassed the design and implementation of various services and networks. Neil's career began at Telkom as a Telecommunications Engineer, and Neil has international experience as the Head of Core and VAS for MTN Irancell. Educational qualifications include a Postgraduate qualification in CIO practice from the University of the Witwatersrand, a Diploma in Data Metrics from the University of South Africa, and a National Diploma in Telecommunications from Telkom College.
