Tyler Hodgson

Tyler Hodgson has a diverse work experience spanning a variety of roles and industries. Tyler is currently the EVP of Growth at UMortgage, a position they have held since December 2022. Prior to this, they served as the President of NXT Mortgage Company from January 2017 to December 2022. In 2018, Tyler worked as a Business Development Partner at Hodgson, Nash & Gwynn CPAs, PLLC. Tyler also gained experience as an Analyst at McFarlin Group & Surpass Senior Living from January 2017 to March 2018. Before that, they held the role of Controller at King Financial Group, Inc. from April 2015 to January 2017. Tyler began their career as an Audit Intern at Montgomery Coscia Greilich LLP in June 2016. Tyler also worked as a Staff Accountant at Legacy Senior Communities from January 2014 to May 2015. Prior to their professional career, Tyler served as a Sergeant in the Marine Corps Recruiting from May 2010 to December 2013. Tyler started their career as an Assistant Manager at Spring Creek Barbeque from April 2006 to May 2009.

Tyler Hodgson completed their education in the field of accounting. From 2008 to 2015, they attended the University of North Texas and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree (BS) in Accounting. Tyler then continued their education at the same university from 2015 to 2017 and earned a Masters of Science degree (MS) in Accounting. In addition to their academic achievements, Tyler also obtained certifications in the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) from TSBPA in May 2017 and Residential Mortgage Loan Originator from TX-SML in January 2016.
