Chris Spence

Chris Spence is currently the Director at Umpqua Health. Prior to this, they worked as a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator for AHC McNairy County from October 2015 to January 2020. Chris also worked as a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator for Northside Health Care Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Inc. from June 2013 to November 2015. In this role, they oversaw the day-to-day operations of the entire facility, including leading and directing the interdisciplinary management team, supervision of all staff, schedule making, training and in-servicing, trouble shooting, financial and legal responsibility, human resources management, Medicare and Medicaid, State Health Department survey preparedness and compliance, billing and bookkeeping, payroll management, therapy and rehabilitation services, skilled and long term nursing services, dietary, laundry, and housekeeping services, community relations, marketing, physician relations, as well as many other miscellaneous tasks and responsibilities.

Chris Spence has a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Leadership and Health Management from Union University and an Associate of Science (A.S.) in Radiologic Technology/Science - Radiographer from Jackson State Community College.
