Saudi Arabian Delegate at UN Climate Change

Albara Tawfiq is an experienced International Policy Advisor at the Ministry of Energy, providing expertise on energy policy, sustainable development, and climate change since February 2013. Albara serves as the lead representative for the ministry in various international negotiations and is also the Chairman of the Board for both the Katowice Committee of Experts on the Implementation of Response Measures and the Adaptation Fund, contributing to key discussions on climate policy and adaptation funding. Additionally, Albara is a Board Member of the Green Climate Fund and serves as a delegate for Saudi Arabia at UNFCCC conferences, playing a significant role in negotiations.
