Carlos Ruiz-Garvia

Carlos Ruiz-Garvia is a highly experienced professional in sustainability and climate change, currently serving as Team Lead for the Adaptation Committee Unit at UN Climate Change Secretariat and previously as Project Manager for the UNFCCC Global Innovation Hub. With a comprehensive background that includes leading accreditation processes for regulatory implementation and managing operations at Assurance Services International and Repsol, Carlos has a strong focus on innovative solutions and environmental management. Carlos holds a Ph.D. in Agricultural Sciences from The University of Göttingen and has pursued further education at prestigious institutions such as Harvard University and Yale University, accumulating extensive knowledge in project management, financing of national determined contributions, and business strategies.
