Maximo Saenz

Maximo Saenz is an experienced professional in climate change mitigation with a strong background in project analysis and technical support. Since November 2010, Maximo has been with ONU Cambio Climático, focusing on assessing climate change projects and developing GHG accounting standards. Prior to this role, Maximo held positions at the Ministerio de Ambiente y Desarrollo Sostenible, both as a Project Analyst and CDM Project Analyst, where responsibilities included estimating GHG emissions, organizing workshops, and providing capacity building to stakeholders. Experience also includes work with the World Bank's Carbon Finance Assist Program, where Maximo conducted technical analyses and coordinated national seminars. Earlier career stages involved educational roles at SCICON and Temaiken Foundation, emphasizing environmental education.
