Wilson S. K. Wasike

Wilson S. K. Wasike is a distinguished academic and policy expert currently serving as Faculty Director and Senior Lecturer at Strathmore Business School since March 2023. With extensive experience in climate finance and green economy initiatives, Wilson has been an Embedded CiACA Associate/Consultant at UN Climate Change since June 2021, providing policy analysis and advising on carbon pricing and market development in Kenya. Previously, Wilson held various pivotal roles, including Research Manager at the African Economic Research Consortium from 2009 to 2021, and a Senior Policy Expert at The National Treasury of Kenya from 2013 to 2016. Wilson's educational background includes a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Stirling and advanced studies at esteemed institutions such as Harvard Kennedy School and the World Bank Economic Development Institute.
