Emma Pistarino

Emma Pistarino is a professional with a strong background in sustainability and communication. Currently serving as a Consultant for the Business for Land Initiative with the UN Convention to Combat Desertification, Emma previously held the role of Junior Consultant in the same initiative. Emma's experience includes outreach and mobilization efforts for the Great Green Wall Accelerator. Additionally, Emma has worked as a reporter for La Voce di New York and The Northern Iowan, and has contributed as an interviewer at the University of Northern Iowa’s Center for Social and Behavioral Research. Emma's academic credentials include a Master of Science in Global Challenges for Sustainability from Trinity College Dublin and the University of Montpellier, along with a degree in Global Studies focused on Peace, Conflict, and Human Rights from the University of Northern Iowa.
