Aidan McKean

Aidan McKean is currently serving as an Associate Programme Management Officer at the UN Environment Programme since June 2023, having previously interned with the same organization from September 2022 to March 2023. Aidan was a Program Specialist at the Gabby Wild Foundation from October 2021 to June 2022, where responsibilities included establishing fundraising opportunities and liaising with wildlife organizations. Aidan also worked as a Graduate Consultant for IUCN in early 2022, contributing to the Restoration Barometer project. Prior experience includes serving as a Nutrition Sensitive Agriculture Extension Worker with the Peace Corps from April 2018 to March 2020, and interning with Conservation International in 2014. Aidan holds a Master of Public Administration in Environmental Science and Policy from Columbia University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Studies and Anthropology from Rollins College.
