Blake Ratner

Member, Global Environment Facility Scientific And Technical Advisory Panel

Blake Ratner serves as the Executive Director of Collaborating for Resilience (CoRe) since January 2018, focusing on fostering dialogue among stakeholders in environmental governance and promoting local economic resilience. Ratner is also a member of the Global Environment Facility Scientific and Technical Advisory Panel, contributing to strategic scientific advice on environmental policies and projects. Previously, Ratner held various leadership roles at WorldFish from 2003 to 2017, including Director General, and was pivotal in enhancing livelihoods through research in fisheries and aquaculture. Ratner's extensive background includes research and project management positions at esteemed organizations such as the University of Minnesota, World Resources Institute, and The World Bank, complemented by a robust academic foundation in Environmental Sociology from Cornell University and executive training from Stanford Graduate School of Business.
