UN Environment Programme
Cecilia Askham is an experienced professional in environmental science and engineering, currently serving as Co-Chair for the Weighting Subtask of the Global Guidance for Life Cycle Impact Assessment Indicators and Methods (GLAM) project at the UN Environment Programme since May 2021. Cecilia has been a Senior Researcher at NORSUS and a Senior Research Scientist at Ostfold Research since 1997, contributing significantly to both organizations. Additionally, Cecilia worked as a Trainer for Evolve leadteam from 2008 to 2012 and held the position of Chemical and Process Engineer at ICI between 1996 and 1997. Academic qualifications include a PhD from Aalborg University (2007-2011) and a BEng in Environmental Chemical Engineering from the University of Surrey (1992-1996). Educational background also includes attendance at Brockenhurst College and Noadswood School.
