David Jensen

David Jensen is an experienced professional in environmental policy and digital transformation, currently serving as the Regional Coordinator for Digital Transformation in Europe and North America at the UN Environment Programme. With a strong background in environmental peacebuilding and policy innovation, David has previously held positions such as Coordinator of the Digital Transformation Programme and Coordinator of the UNEP Digital Transformation Task Force within the same organization. Prior to this, David worked as an Environmental Expert at UNOPS and as a Research Assistant at the Ministry of Aboriginal Affairs in British Columbia. David's expertise also includes a role as an Associate Expert in Environmental Indicators at Environment and Climate Change Canada. Educationally, David holds a Master of Science in Ecology and Biology from the University of Oxford and a Bachelor of Science in Resource Management from the University of Victoria.
