Sam Barratt

Sam Barratt has extensive experience in advocacy, communications, and media across various organizations. Currently serving as the Chief of Youth, Education & Advocacy at UN Environment, Sam has also held the position of Chief of Public Advocacy and Communications. Prior roles include Campaign / Communications Director at Avaaz.org, Media Director for the Global Campaign for Education's 1GOAL campaign, and multiple roles at Oxfam, including Head of Media. Sam's early career included a position as a Senior Executive at Midnight Communications. Academically, Sam holds a 2:1 degree in Politics from the University of Liverpool, earned between 1993 and 1996.
