Shikha Bhasin

Shikha Bhasin is a seasoned professional in the fields of climate finance and renewable energy, currently serving as a Senior Advisor at the UN Environment Programme since March 2023. Bhasin has held various roles at the Council on Energy, Environment and Water (CEEW) since February 2016, including Advisor, Senior Programme Lead, and Programme Lead. Prior experience includes a role as a Researcher at the Energy research Centre of the Netherlands from January 2014 to July 2017, where responsibilities included consulting on international climate finance projects and developing policy papers for the UNFCCC. Bhasin began their career as a Researcher at the German Development Institute from January 2011 to December 2013, focusing on Low Carbon Technology Trajectories in India, China, and Europe. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Global Politics from The London School of Economics and Political Science, obtained in 2009.
