Yolanda Cachu is a Task Manager at the UN Environment Programme, where they have been working as a GEF Chemicals and Waste Consultant since 2021. They served as an International Expert on Water Management at UNIDO from 2009 to 2016 and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Stanford University from 2006 to 2008. Yolanda holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from Universidad Simón Bolívar, where they are currently enrolled, and earned a Ph.D. in Biology from Lancaster University in 2005, along with a Diploma in Economics and Environmental Policy from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México in 2010.
