Sarah Hechler

Sarah Hechler is an experienced professional in the field of human rights and labor standards. Currently serving as an Advisor for Human Rights & Labour Standards at UN Global Compact Netzwerk Deutschland since April 2023, Sarah previously held roles as a Junior Advisor and a Student Assistant at Deutsche Gesellschaft für International Zusammenarbeit GmbH, contributing to the implementation of Germany's National Action Plan on Business and Human Rights. Additional experience includes positions as a Student Assistant for research projects at the Free University of Berlin, an intern in the European Commission's Political Department, and an intern for Gyde Jensen, MP, focusing on human rights policy. Sarah's educational background includes a Master’s degree from The London School of Economics and Political Science, ongoing studies at Sciences Po, and a B.A. in Political Science from Freie Universität Berlin.
