Iman Hassan

Iman Hassan is an experienced Urban Development Programme Officer and Gender Focal Point at UN-Habitat since December 2021, with a strong background in managing urban development programs and strategic partnerships. Previous roles include Senior Program Manager at Habitat for Humanity International, where Iman managed a $3M housing micro-finance and WASH portfolio and developed a strategic plan for the national office. As Projects and Business Development Manager at Takween Integrated Community Development, Iman oversaw multiple significant projects, including those funded by USAID and UN agencies. Iman also has experience as an urban designer, researcher, and gender consultant, alongside holding roles at the National Council for Women and in academia. Iman holds a Master of Science in Building and Urban Design in Development from UCL and a Bachelor's degree in Construction Engineering from The American University in Cairo.
